Meet Sylvia, a dedicated member of her community and the Vice-Chair of the Olds HealthCare Fundraising Committee. Her journey with the committee began when she was invited to help organize the inaugural Barn Dance Event, an experience that sparked a deep-seated passion for serving the community she cherishes.
Sylvia has a rich background in healthcare, having retired from Alberta Health Services where she built her career in Health Information Management. Her professional path began in 1977 at the Drumheller General Hospital, where she spent a decade honing her skills. In 1988, her family relocated to the vibrant Olds area, and Sylvia took on a pivotal role at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre, where she worked tirelessly for over thirty years.
